Here's how it went down. I started having contractions around 4 am and yet they weren't anything major. But by 4:30 I figured I'd rather be safe than sorry and woke John up. We called John's mom and she came to be here for when Mya woke up. So here is my last prego photo as we were heading into Lethbridge!

We headed into Lethbridge where they made me walk around for an hour to see if things were really moving. They decided to keep me in (seeing I was to be induced the next day) and just break my water & see what happened. This part scared me because with Mya once my water broke till she was born was 20 minutes... but either way I didn't want to go home & have to come do this the next day - so they broke my water. Let's just say that over the next hour & a half nitrous (happy gas) was my new best friend! It really only took the edge off ;) Then 3 pushes later she was out!! I felt like I'd been hit by a train, but so excited that she was here & weighs more than they expected!! Let's just say I'm glad it's over with!




What more can I say - we're thrilled she's here! She's trying to get the idea of nursing... but that'll pan out. My mom & dad took Mya back up to Calgary with them for a few days, so we're excited to see her & my mom tonight! All in all we're glad SHE'S HERE!!!!
