my pantry is now full ;)

Here's why I've been neglectful of this poor blog lately. It's still not an excuse for the entire summer. My stress levels went up like crazy when my aunt dropped of an EXTRA 20 lbs of peaches (on top of the 20 lbs she had already brought) AND 20 lbs of plums. We had a few crazy days filled with movies for the girls & things but it feels SO good having my pantry full of this...
Here's some pics of a portion of what got done!!

It feels great. I've been neglectful of other things to get this done. So partly I put this up so I don't feel guilty for the enormous amount of laundry that's piled up & so much more! And now to get the gumption to make my chili sauce this weekend - go figure it's the one I'm the most excited about but am now so burnt out from all of this that I really have to remind myself how much I love it (and that we've finished off the last jar we had from last year) ;)

Well, hats off to you. I think I've canned one can of peaches once.... when I was helping someone else do theirs. You'll have to teach me some day.

I'm so impressed. I've done my salsa, but that's about it. I don't know if I'd be brave enough to tackle jams... You're awesome!

Ha ha - I first responded as John.... opps. Jams are easier than salsa... I just had lucked out and had borrowed a juicer! I'll have to get your recipe for that salsa!
