I feel like since I've put most of my photos up on facebook, that I don't want to repeat a tonne. But we did have an eventful and fun holidays!
We had a roommate reunion one afternoon and it was amazing how we can just pick up where we left off, as if we've hung out day in and day out, yet it's been years! We were supposed to be doing kissy faces but we were all laughing SO hard!
I am learning how to crochet other things that just baby blanket edges. It's been fun. Lots of mistakes but I think this hat turned out cute!
My Grandma came over for a few days and we had fun visiting and catching up. I love how just from visiting with her I come away so grateful for my blessings! I've got her DNA (obviously) but I don't think I'm cut out for the same hard work she did raising her 9 kids up in Cherry Grove. It's amazing how much has changed in her lifetime.
We ate a lot of treats - and especially this yummy cheese dip! Mya was a great helper, and had to dress for the occasion ;)
We had makeup parties, dress-ups and what Christmas wouldn't be complete without a little puke ;(

Mya got a wig/fairy set for Christmas and so to save putting up photos of all of us wearing this wig, my Grandma gets to be the lucky lady ;) At least her favorite color is purple.
All in all we've had fun. John and I are both training for half marathons so we've been spending most evenings with the treadmill. Fun, I know. BUT, it's amazing what you can do if you just don't give up. I'm seeing muscles that I haven't seen in years (or used) ;) And if I don't compare myself to John (he is already kickin' my butt, he's so fast) then it's all good.

I love your Grandma too. I got to know her well when I helped take care of Loya and loved visiting with both of them. She is so spry for her age and interested in everything. She is definitely a going concern.
the hat you made is so cute.
running again? you rock. what are you guys training for?
thanks! I'll be running the Wenatchee WA half in April and then Cardston has a half in May that John & I will be doing. I'm excited to get my body back after 2 kids ;)
Thanks for posting pictures of Grandma! I'll have to make sure Jeron looks at your blog so he can see it.
Good work with the crocheting! I've always wanted to learn, it just seemed too hard. Maybe I'll try it out!
I LOVE the hat! So cute!
And I understand all about the puke! Why is it that it always seems to end up on Mama?
