Mya turned 4 a while back and she has constantly reminded us (and everyone else) that she's 4! She's so happy to turn one year older and grow up a bit more. She is now officially potty trained (WAHOO) and is in the midst of a growth spurt... as in 4 inches in 2 months!
Addison got ear tubes in not too long ago and it has helped out a tonne ~ except now she is cutting molars and a few more teeth, so she's been a bit of a bear. Oh well, the joys of kids right?! ;)
The kids had SO much fun this Halloween! In our town they switched it so the whole town celebrated it on Saturday instead of Sunday! The girls got a haul for candy & were so happy the whole night. Addison wouldn't let herself be carried or helped with her bucket for the whole night... even when it was dragging on the ground cuz it was too heavy for her. Mya knew full well what was going on, and Addison we just happy that people were giving her 'stuff' but she really didn't clue in to it being candy ;) So here is my red princess and a little kitty cat.
We always stop by my Aunt Loya's place and visit, so of course we had to drop by! We love her and so do the girls!! She was ready with far too much candy, but I've decided that I can at least cut up all the Mars bars and make cookies with Mars bar chunks in it... yummy!!
John's Grandma Perras passed away a week ago and so we made it out to Salmon Arm, BC for a quick trip for the funeral. John was one of the paul bearers and so we were glad we could go. I'm so grateful for my good friend Lisa that watched our girls for the 2 days so we could go. Nothin' like driving 17 hours over 2 days... but I must say it was kid free driving, so it was all good.
