A few of my friends have done this one (thanks to Susie) and so I thought I'd do it too-

Typical time of wake-up: around 7:30 but today I was lucky... 8:45

On a good night when you/kids go to sleep: Mya at 6:30/7 ish and for me around 10/11pm

How long you have been a momma: 15 month, 22 days

How many times have you been a new mom: 1

How old were you when you became a mom (is this to personal?): 25

Favorite Kids show: ha - for now down in Cardston my in-laws don't even have clear basic tv

Least Favorite Kids show: I'm sure I'll come up with lots when we get our own place & cable

Favorite chore: vacuuming -instant results

Least favorite chore: the big deep clean you do every so often

Meal you cook most often: chicken & rice, or BBQing

Kids favorite meal: french fries

5 things that make you smile when you are being a mom:
Watching Mya decide she doesn't want to eat sand (after taste testing of course). Riding the carousel with her & she's giddy as can be. Her cuddles. Watching Mya explore and learn new things. Seeing John & Mya playing.

Favorite thing your husband does with your kids: plays with her... shoulder rides, horsey rides, rock-a-bye baby, chases.... he's a great dad!

Last time you went out with no kids: Last night to go rent a movie.

If you could take your kids anywhere where would it be: How about back to Mexico!

Favorite pastime/activity with kids: going on walks with Mya - & going to the park

1 thing you said you would never do when you were a mom: I'm not sure....

If you had an afternoon to yourself what would you do? bake & cook & take photos

1 thing you do that your mom did & now you do: sing the same little songs to Mya, take too many pics of every little event. (that one I am so grateful for - thanks mom)

Favorite quality of your own mom: she's always doing something nice for someone else

Favorite kids book: I love you forever

Best advice for a new mom: relax... you'll do great.

Scariest or most heartbreaking moment as a mom: When Mya was in the NICU and every time I held her/or fed her the monitor would go off cuz she'd stop breathing, or when she had RSV & croup all when she was less that 6 pounds. Glad that stage is over ;)

Most joyful moment as a mom: Taking Mya home from the hospital.

Last time your child told you they love you: the look on her face after she woke up today said it all

Last time you said I love you to your kid: Before she went to sleep for her nap.

Now go tell your kids how great they are give them a big hug & kiss! I think you are all the best moms ever, and are doing a heck of a job!

Thanks Mom - you're the best!!
