My trip

So overdue, but that's just how I roll lately. My trip was awesome and surprisingly the girls travelled fantastic! I found out that by leaving at 4:30 or 5 am that they travelled so much better. Gotta love sleeping kids!

We had fun in Wenatchee and I can say that I finished the half marathon... with a stress fracture on my foot! Oh well, I walked a lot but with the race being by the river - it was beautiful!! The apple, cherry and pear trees were in blossom - oh and the magnolia trees!! If only they would grow here, I'd have one in my yard.

I headed over to Bothell to my sister's place and we had fun playing at the park across the street from her, swimming and making some yummy meals! I managed to be there right when all the tulips were in blossom so we headed up to them and had to take advantage of the photo op! It was getting hard to stop Addison from exploring and destroying ;) 

Mya loved having doting cousins to paint her nails... daily!!

 These girls would put on their red dresses and dance for hours at a time... in fact we had to bring the red dress home with us. 

Sadly I headed home, after having a fun time & enjoying the outlets that were nearby! That was my trip in a nutshell.

On a side note: I found out 2 days after the race that my friend Melissa is cancer free. What a blessing.
